Time to celebrate! This month, I am celebrating 15 years as a realtor, in addition to being with RE/MAX Realty Affiliates for those 15 years as well. I thought it would be a great time to share things I’ve learned through real estate over the last several years.

It’s been a wild ride in this ever-changing industry and there are many things I have accomplished and things I’ve learned through real estate. I’ve also been able to meet some amazing people along the way.

With fifteen years under my belt, you can be assured that I’ve had my fair share of interactions through transactions, relationships, and more. Here are three things I’ve learned over the years while being in real estate.

Relationships

Building my business by relationship has proven to be the best decision and investment in myself that I could have made.

Over the course of almost 400 transactions, I have been able to work with so many individuals, couples, and families – some of which I have had the pleasure of working with through multiple transactions.

I have been through so many of life’s journeys with many of my clients and it’s such an honor to be the one they trust and respect to take them through each chapter of their lives.

Respond, Don’t React

One of the things I’ve learned through real estate is to respond – not react. Buying and selling a home can be one of the most stressful times for buyers and sellers and they need us to be solid ground for them.

Learning to listen and respond is critical — both with my clients and with the agents I work with.

Referrals

The ability to refer clients needing to buy or sell anywhere across the country to trusted realtors that I actually know is such a blessing.

Did you know that 1 in every 8 homes in North America is sold by the network of agents I work with?

Through my personal network, professional network, and connections through Buffini Referral Company, I’ve had the opportunity to work with over 60 referral clients – in and out. That means that these 60 clients were either referred to me by another industry professional or I was able to refer them to a colleague in another city or state across the country.

Accomplishing More Each Day

With over 398 transactions totaling over $141,110,916, I am so grateful to have accomplished the title of a RE/MAX Platinum Member.

I love what I get to do because of each of you.

I love the work-life balance that it offers to me.

I appreciate all of those that entrust their real estate needs with me.

I am grateful for the things i’ve learned through real estate.
